I have a 96 cavi it has a rack pinion beaing recall. does anyone know about it? what happens when it is going bad? thanks guys
Go to the dealership and they will tell you if the recall has been done,if not they have to do it at no cost to you..But when did this recall come out???
came out in 03. it goes in the today at 1:30 . I hope its the source of the noise
GET IT CHECKED ASAP! I neglected to do mine then the steering went out turning into a parking lot. This has to be one of the most dangerous recalls EVER!!!!! At high speeds, it could easily kill you.
Don't take any crap if they tell you it's billable.

I think so you can call a gm dealer and see if it pertaims to your exact car mine iac going in later this week. excited because.then my clunking should stop
