well i quit driving my cav 8 months ago when i lost my liscence, and it had started to have a funny problem also. once the engine got warmed up it would start to idle surge(like a dsm or honda when the tps/ics goes bad), and would cut out horribly. i noticed my radiator fan had died, replaced it and the issue got better, but it still does it. so before it goes back on the road im going to change the fuel filter, i was wondering if the real problem could be a sensor on the throttle body? anyone else ever run into this problem?
sounds like an O2 sensor you could pull the codes and it should tell you since there is an issue with how it runs so there should be a code being thrown. but you probly know more than all of us since your hack job on your other cars have went so well. Maybe if you take your own advise and bore out ur fuel injectors and let us know what happens.

i like your input rob. but its not at all about who has what and graduated. it about shutting boost creep up. everything that has come out of his mouth has been a lie since day one about what he does and can do. he tries to make it sound as if he is so great at what he does. when in all reallity he is far from great. im not great at evrything and i have no problem admitting that. i will tell you straight up if i cant do something or dont know something. But never will i try to project an image of me as being able to do things i really cant. I dont understand your point of your cavalier being better than an Audi when in fact they are in a different class. Audi has proven to be just as reliable and fit and finish is a ton times better than a cavalier. when was the last time acavalier didnt used more plastic than a kids power wheels and drive like one. I have owned many cars and when my last gm car i owned fell apart around me i was dissapointed. Granted it ran like a champ and was very reliable up to 250k it was the quality of fit and finish that was terrible. Audi does both and more this is my second on after my last one had 135k before i wanted something newer. im very meticulous about my car and service it more than most people i know. thats why i know that my reviews on cars are acurate. by no means is the audi the best but it ranks up there. No its not a race car but has plenty of power to satisfy anyones needs to pass a car on the highway or handle like its on rails when driving in mountain passes with out disturbing passengers. Anyways this is not about audis or other class of cars but just to warn people that ecosleeper aka boostcreep has no idea what hes talking about half of the time. so if he tries to give advise dont take it. it will end up later causing more problems than solutions. he should be banned from cars all together even the local police say this. he is serriously 1 beer short of a six pack and he cant come to realize it.
