ok my belt started squeaking not squealing slightly only when it rained so i assumed that the belt was getting worn out and was squeaking because it was wet and then it starting getting louder and did it all the time. so i finally replaced the belt and it hasnt done it in two days and now this morning it started doing it again quietly when i'm accelerating. idk if it might be one of the pulleys or what idk how to see what pulley it is if anyone has any suggestions id appreciate it thanks

If there is a high pitch squeel then its the belt. Replace it, its easy enough. While the belt is off tho, give a spin to all the pulleys and see if any are making noise, or is any wobble (a slight tug on the pulley left and right will show you) a very very small amount is ok, but obviously you can tell when there is too much. If everything spins nicely, and no noise install the new belt and be done.
I would check the pulleys like Mike said, sucks that you got the belt on already though.
crap, sorry dude, didnt see the part where u said u replaced the belt lol. I know tho sometimes the belts that are bought aftermarket (pepboys, AZ, and such) suck, and still squeek still even after new. I am willing to bet tho, that one of ur pulleys is binding causing the squeek. Unfortunatly I would say take the belt back off, and check the pulleys, and even ur tensioner. If you can move it relatively easy by hand then thats bad. But thats really the only way to do it. Goodluck man.
well i watched it while it was running and the only pulley that seems to move around a lot is the tensioner can i buy just the pulley? and how do i go about changing just the pulley? never done that before and also i think i need a new power steering fluid cap cause theres fluid all around the cap

Well, the tensioner will shake a little bit thus keeping tension on the belt at different times. I would also just recommend you replace the whole tensioner assembly since its literally 100 times easier then replacing the pulley wheel itself. Its just one bolt, crack it loose, and take the new one, line up the peg on the back with the hole in the block, and reinstall the bolt, tighten down and done. then reinstall the belt. But while ur belt is off check the other pulleys, and check the belt too, and make sure ur new belt isn't glazed or cracked. Once its made sure its all good, its done. Goodluck buddy.
yeah i've read up on how to remove the tensioner it looked pretty easy. I'll probably be doin it this weekend and hopefully it quits making that sound
