Sometimes all the lights come on while driving. When I drive her car it won't do it. When she drives it it always does it. Its an 04 auto. It idles at 600 rpm so I'm not sure what that's all about or if that's normal. Any ideas on what it is or could be? Thanks ahead of time.
i know mine is an auto 03 which is the same deal, and it idle's at exactly 600 unless in park as well, so i think your'e normal there, as far as the christmas tree lights, wish i could help but i don't know what's up with that.
I have an 04 auto that idles at 600 RPM and experienced the same problem. Fortunately for me it was covered under warranty and the dealer got to mess with it. They ended up replacing the BCM and the front right wheel speed sensor two times. They even said I had excessive noise on the sensor wires so they put some shielding on them. Overall it was in the dealer about 6 times just for that and I still had the problem. I wiggled around the wheel speed sensor wires and connectors until I got it to display the three lights you are seeing. I placed a little dielectric grease and I thought the wires were a bit to snug so I gave it some extra slack. That was five months ago and I haven't seen the problem since.
This might be an asinine suggestion, but did you check her oxy sensors? I know my car went all kinds of retarded when both went bad.
