occasionally, my 97 cavalier z24 does not want to stay running after starting, i have noticed that in the time that i am trying to start it with no avail, that the low trac light stays on an incredibly long time (5-10min), have waited the 5-10 minutes and car may start fine, low trac light off at this point, any suggestions?
I would clean the throtle body and IAC valve.
If low traction light comes on that means there's probably a problem with wheel speed sensors. When a low traction event is triggered, the BCM tells the ECM to cut power. If you're at idle, cut power is stall. May want to check wiring to all wheel speed sensors, when they fail they register 0, but it sounds like yours are giving a reading at 0 so that makes me thing you're getting voltage across wheel speed sensor wiring.
