hey guys, i have an 04 sunfire, 134XXXKM on it. I've been having an issue with it pulling to the left for quite some time now. i have had an alignment done and this did not solve the issue. When i brought it back the second time they check the temp of the brakes and found that the driver side caliper was a fair bit hotter then the passenger side so they told me that the caliper was sticking causing the pads to drag and cause the pull. I just put a new caliper on today and it doesn't seem to be quite as bad but its definitely still pulling. I looked over everything when i was changing out the caliper and nothing looks bent or broke. The only think i did notice is that there is a small tare in the ball joint rubber boot. It still feels solid, there's no play in it what so ever. also the problem has existed with both my winter tires and summer tires, so i cant see it being my tires, and my tire pressure is good, i check them every week. Is there anything else that I am missing?? or haven't through of. please help.
try rotating your tires front to back.
you should probably look at some new tranny mounts too while youre at it.
Eat my shift
well the problem was the same with the winter and summer tires, so im just curious as to how that's gonna make a difference... and replace the tranny mount just cause of the mileage on the car?
Mine did this the day I brought it home.
New control arm bushings did the trick. Does it clunk when you hit the gas or brakes?
i put poly bushings in the drivers side lower controller arm about 2 years ago, the passenger side bushings are the stock. Should i put the polys in the passenger side? No clunking under acceleration or braking.

well yes because of the mileage on the car, but also because itll feel great shifting
plus mine pulled hard to the left as well, turns out my tranny bushings were crap. so i swapping in the poly ones and bhavent had a significant problem since. one more thing you should check are your swap bar end links. those being loose or damaged could effect steering as well. and those are cheap... you can get the autozone ones for 12 bucks and swap them out in about 15 minutes.

I'll definitely have to look into those tranny mounts man, thanks.
gotta ask what is a swap bar end link?? or do you mean sway bar?
