well i went to start up the car today and well it started but sounded like a Subaru, i knew a cylinder wasn't firing so i felt the exhaust manifold. 1 and 2 were hot but 3 and 4 weren't, saying that when standing in front of the car they are numbered 1234. i don't know what to do, I've changed coil packs wires and plugs and still no change, i have no idea what it would be, the plugs are wet when i take them out so i know that its getting gas, so its not an injector problem. does anyone have a diagram of the firing order too? my car is a 2000 sunfire with the 2200. help would be greatly appreciated, and yes i searched but didnt come up with jack for my situation really.
its not whats under the hood, its how you use it

and what order do they connect to the coil packs

already changed them, even swapped them around and no difference

that sounds pretty bad, have you checked the compression across all cylinders? and check the injectors even though their wet doesn't mean there getting enough fuel out of them.
swapped injectors 1 with 4 and it is still in cylinder 4 so i know its not the injector

think it would be the control module?

it could be an ICM, crank sensor, bad compression (which as mentioned, I highly recomend you check now), al lkinds of things.
you need some real diag done sounds like. Thats basically impossible over tha interwebz.
well i changed the crank sensor yesterday, to no avail still misfire. im going to try to get a compression test done today, really hoping its not a burnt valve, cause i dont have the time to fix it or the cash for a motor swap like i want to do.

did you take off the filter to make the vid or is that how you always have it. possiblity somethin may got in there if thats how you normaly have it.
yes i took it off cause i sprayed some carb and choke cleaner down there. did a compression test yesterday.....all equal across the board so its not a valve. controll module still hasn't arrived yet so im still waiting on that.

With the waste spark system that our cars use it seems odd that it would be a control module in this case. In other words if cylinder 1 is sparking so should cylinder 4, same with 2 & 3. Especially since you've ruled out coil packs. Have you checked or replaced the plug wires? Your wire could be good enough to give you a shock but the spark isn't strong enough to ignite under compression.
plug wires are like 2 months old. i ran it at nite too to see if there was any visible sparks but nope. i will try plug wires too while im waiting on the ICM.
