first of all let me say im glad to be a new member of this site and how happy i am of knowing theres people outhere intrested in cavys and birdys.

now to the point, i have an 02 cav auto3 and is giving me some problems.

1) will start normally, idle is regular, but after a few trips the rpm is higher than idle and i dont think its normal, im not sure and will post later about how much rpm its at. i believe idle is around 6-8h rpm and after is about 1000-1500 rpm.

2) i belive my tranny is slipping or delaying. sometimes ill put in D and will hesitate to go, while driving the rpm will play either going on w/ steady pedal or giving it gas, and finally my main reason to believe this is bc ill try to give it gas while in a turn and will only rev and have a hard time driving.

btw, i had to fork over about 2-5 hundred bucks to have a specialty tire dealer that has asi cert. mechs change the tranny oil and has helped significantly but still very annoyed by this. also, i used to have a 98 4dr cav and could waste 94-96? v6 mustangs.lol!
