Can anyone tell me where/how to check and add fluid to the transmission on my 95 Cavalier 2.3 L? I need to replace the transmission cooler hoses but I can't start until I know where to top up the fluid.

backside of the trans there's a bolt/plug that is essentiallt a bleed hole. engine running on level ground, pull that bolt and if fluid leaks out, let it go till it stops, if not, fill it till it does.
