Hey Guys..

My girlfriend has a 2003 sunfire that she just picked up. Car is real nice with only 35k miles on it.

We were cruising down the freeway the other day, and the blower motor started to sound like it was eating something.

Now its making a high pitched whine when you run it, and air output is low.

I want to take it out of there, and see if it ingested a leaf or something.

So, I'm looking right at the blower motor, and it doesn't have any bolts on it.

It looks like GM put plastic push pin type stakes to hold it together instead of bolts?

How do you get these things off? A screwdriver is just destroying the plastic, its just a mess.

Any tips would be HELPFUL, as we are taking the car six hours this coming weekend, and AC is a must..

It should have 3 screws, one of them is harder to take out.
