A/C compressor replacement

hey everyone i think i need to replace the ac compressor so i got one from the junk yard but i wanted to kno how to put new fluid in it or recharge it is it something i could do like recharging or would i have to get sum1 to do it?

I believe you have to have someone do it, because it has to be set at a certain pressure.
But don't hold it to me.

well there going to want to complely suck every think out once you hook it up.and then yes you will need to get it recharged.

ok so i could replace the compressor myself but i would have to get it professionaly charged?

once you change the compressor, the whole system needs to be vacuumed to get all the air and moisture out. without this step, the AC system won't work as well as it should.

install it yourself, take it to a shop to be evacuated and charged.

make shure u bring it in after u install it dont waste ur time tryin to recharge ur system
