coolant leak around left header pipe.

i have searched and searched on here and everyone says the leak may come from the water outlet, or water neck but all the hoses and fittings are good, it drips around the left header tube, but it may be running from somewhere else, and again i have checked all hoses and inlets to the head/heater core. any help?

it comes out of the actual water pump itself not any hoses

i had the same problem.... under the plug for the ICM and IDI cover, there is a plastic fitting where a rubber bunch of hoses, one metal hose, and a sensor meet. the plastic piece on mine broke off at the block.

there is a little lip that plug into the block with an o-ring on it to seal. the lip snapped inside the block. i had to fish out the plastic bits and the o-ring and replace it with a new one from the dealership. piece cost me $30 CDN, didnt come with o ring. i used my own o-ring that was a little thicker and a lot of red RTV as a gasket. problem solved, has been great ever since.

oh, also mine was checked by grabbing that main hose that goes in there and wiggling it up and down and such. the plastic piece was moving. there are 2 bolts that hold it down, 10 mm i think. remove the bolt hold the metal line that comes from that and wraps around to back of the block too, will give you more room to play with if you have to remove or change it.
