Left high beam inoperative

I noticed that my left high beam doesn't work. When I switch on the high beams, the left headlamp goes dark. The low beam is fine. The right headlamp functions properly. I replaced the bulb, but that didn't solve the problem. Also, when I put the car in gear, the DRL relay clicks several times, then the Service lamp illuminates. Are these issues related. Any info would be appreciated.

Get a test light or meter, and check that there's power on one of the pins of the head light connector when the high beams are on. If there isn't, turn the lights back off, and see if 2 of the pins have a connection to ground, only one should have. If there's only one ground connection, you have a wire cut, pinched, or broken somewhere. If there's 2 grounds, you have a short somewhere. If there's power, you have another bum bulb, or a bad connector.

When the low beams are on, I have 11 volts between the center pin and the low beam wire. When the high beams are on, I have 11 volts between the center pin and the high beam wire. Also when the low beams are on, I have 0.5 volts between the center pin and the high beam wire. Then when the high beams are on, I have 0.5 volts between the center pin and the low beam wire. I bought another bulb, but the high beam still doesn't work. I am stumped.
