Tailight replacement

I have an 03 cavalier and I need to replace the bulb. I guess i need some help because I am sure it is held on by some sort of clips. Any help would be appreciated.

Its just a 1/4 turn socket and the bulb is a 3057, but a 3157 will work.

Yeah i have the correct bulb already for it. I am talking about the black plastic part where the bulb goes into the taillight itself. I mean is there anyway to pull the thing out without having to remove the entire taillight?

Thanks

I know that much.....i am talking about after you pull back the liner and u are looking behind the taillight and there are what it looks to be a set up for 2 bulbs....there is a big one and a small one...the small one comes off with 2 little clips and that is what i am trying to look for on the bigger one but i cant get it to come off

So your trying to get the bulbs out of the socket? Just pull. There isnt any clips holding the big bulb to the socket.

^^^^sounds like hes trying to get the socket out of the taillight. i have an 01, so i dont know what clips you are talking about, but you should just have to twist the socket to unlock it.

All sockets mount into the taillights the same for 95+. Thats why all taillights are interchangeable. Changing a taillight bulb is very simple. Twist and pull the socket and just pull the bulb out.(you might have to wiggle the bulb alittle).

Brandon, if you can post a pic of what your talking about i'll be able to help you more specifically then trying to guess at what your talking about.
