ok so i have a 2002 sunfire 2dr auto vin 4. my starter is bad and i need to buy one. i found a oem on ebay with 15k miles on it and 6 month warranty but it says that it will fit 2.2l, vin f. will this not fit my sunfire? im guessing, per the j-body.org library, that f stands for ecoted and 4 is non ecoted (cuz my car is non eco).

that would be correct It wont fit your car
i checked the listing and it says 2.2l, vin f....so it fits 2.2l which is called a vin4 and a 2.2l vin f
