I need to replace my fuel pump and gas tank on a 1989 z24. Is there a place where I can get these parts after market or do I have to hit up a junk yard? I talked to a repair man and he quoted me $500 for parts and labor. Is that a good deal? Thanks.
I'd say that's a good deal. The fuel pump assembly for my '03 was $260 something and the install wasn't incredibly fun.
yeah, $500 for new parts is a damn fine deal. roughly 350-375 for parts, add the labour, and 500 isnt a bad number, especially if he warranties his work.
