What is a tree switch? It's been recommended that I get mine replaced or looked at because I no longer have headlights, only daytime running lights which only come on if my car is in drive.I used to have high beams, but now when I pull the switch towards me to activate them, they come on but don't stay on, and shut off as soon as I let go of the switch. All other lights work, blinkers, break, reverse... they are all fine. It would be nice though to get some headlights when I turn them on!!

I'm guessing they are referring to the multifunction switch (headlight/blinker arm)
