It has come time for me to replace the door on my '98 Sunfire. How do I pop the lock outo fthe old door and get it in a new one? Do I have to completely disassemble the door?
I think you can get to it to remove it once your door panel is complelety removed.
Remove the door panel, unhook the rod from the back of the cylinder, and pull off the retaining clip, and the cylinder will essentially fall from the outside of the door.
