Keep Blowing fuses? Please Help
Monday, August 20, 2007 8:49 AM
My problem is that my turn signal fuse (rated at 10) keeps blowing! Do you guys/gals know what the problem maybe? I put in a new fuse and I use my turn signal twice and it blows the fuse. I replace with a new fuse and it still does the same thing? Can any of you shed some light on how to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance.

Is that your car in your sig? If so I'd wager you installed those Euro-tails yourself. I would check there first. Sounds to me like you've got a hot wire grounding out somewhere inside that circuit. Also check the wires under your dash and see if any copper is exposed that may be touching metal. Short of that your just gonna have to start tracing from the fuse box out to the harness. Shorts could be anywhere. Hope this helps and good luck. Electrical issues are a bitch

Yeah the car in the sig is mine and I no longer have the GH3Y @$$ tail lights. We all make mistakes. Im using '00 cavy tails now. I need to update my sig.

Thanks for the tips I will take a look at what you recommended.

Also while you are checking use a circuit breaker instead of a fuse. You can get them in any auto parts store and it will save you a bundle on fuses while you are looking for the problem.
