How do I tell if my ball joints are gone or shot?
Every time I turn my steering a little bit I hear like a clunk noise or when going over a bump....
I would try jacking up the front of the car, secure the back wheels and make sure the e brake is firmly in place, then move the front wheels grabing the tire and pushing in and out by its front and rear see if there is play or movement also visually check the ball joints and knuckles.
That noise can also be from a worn strut mount.
