Hey hows it goin,
So my dad just happened to mention dismorning that the alternator on his 89 2.8L 5 speed went bad so he dropped in a new one. problem is when he fired it up, it charged for a second then fried again. Any thoughts, they'll be greatly appreciated.
Maybe the battery has a burnt cell, Has the wiring been checked, Could have blown a inline fuse in the alternators wiring harness. Also check all the fuses as well.
