I did a little search before this and got that the problem could either be the fuse or the flash relay, but all the topics were on the front bumper lights it so seemed. On my 2000 SE Sunfire, the rear lights all light up perfectly fine. I just replaced all of them recently to see if that was the problem. However, my front turns blink super quick (ie it is telling me that one of my lights is out). I go look and all of them are fine and the break light works perfectly fine as well. I just cannot get the turn signals in the back/rear to flash. I check the wiring in the rear and it looks like they all have a solid connection. Is the answer to this problem the same as the previous, check the fuse and flash relay? Can I pick up a flash relay at any local autoparts store? And for those who have done it, how difficult is it to replace yourself? Thank you for any and all your help.
Andrew
sounds to me like you possibly replaced your 3157's with 3156's. but if there's two filaments in your bulbs, then thats not it. the super quick flash is telling you you have a bulb blown somewhere, or at least thats what it's supposed to be fore. anything that would make your flasher see less of a load (blown bulb, bulb not in socket, wiring short, disconnected wire) will make it flash quickly.
