Is there any sort of DIY's, instructions, write-ups on this site or web for these wheel bearings.
Pictures would be helpfull. So far I learning not to put the ring or gasket or whatever you wana call it in cus it will cuase the bearings to go after a while.
And Im changing the front ones so that means 4 bearings im assuming.
thankss everyone appreciate the help
you should put the ring on the rear, it makes it a little more difficult because you have to pull the spindle away from the axle then put it back together once the ring is on. this protects the bearing from excessive dirt in there
you'll probably want to sand the inside of the spindle to clean up some rust.
get yourself a good quality T55 1/2" drive socket, something 1 piece and not a pressed in fitting if you can, they'll be stuck on there good and need a lot of torque to remove.
have a torch handy for the T55 bolts and the steering knuckle, they're a treat.
