Does anyone know why reverse lights on an 02 5spd cvay would not work? it is not the fuse so any trouble shooting ideas would be greatly appreciated.

My 04 has the same problem. It more than likely is the reverse switch that is on the tranny....not hard to fix and not expensive either...takes about 15 minutes to do....my switch is ordered and should be here today....all of 16.99 from advance auto. Apparently it is something that our cars have problems with. There are a few threads talking about it.

My sister's '00 has the same issue. I need to change her switch one of these days. To get at it you need to remove the front left wheel and the fender liner, the switch should be right there in front of ya once you do that.
