I was wondering if anyone would possibly have any ideas whats wrong. Atleast once or twice a day after I start my car, pull out, and come to a complete stop, my engine seems to just rev like its loosing power. And when I hit the gas it just hesitates and moves a couple of feet and stops, so usually at that point im stuck in teh middle of both lanes of traffic. It seems like the car is about to stall, even when i have my foot on the gas the whole way, it just acts like it's going to shut off. I always have to come to a complete stop atleast once or twice, then the car drives fine the rest of the trip.
My dads friend is going to check it out friday, he believes it could be the fuel pump or temperature sensor? It has been doing this for over a year now, any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks

i got it back, there was a code for the oxygen sensor, so he changed that, put new vacuum lines on, and cleaned something in the throttle. Well it still does the same thing, so it didnt get fixed. Does anyone else have a clue what could be causing it? I don't want to spend much more money on something im not guaranteed that it will be fixed. thanks
throw some fuel injector cleaner in your tank next fill up... could be dirty injectors... my sunbird used to do exactly what you're saying... ended up being dirty injectors
Right and change your fuel filter. BTW check your air filter too.
we changed the fuel filter prob a year ago when we started tryin to figure out what was wrong w/ it, and i actually put a new intake on a couple months ago, but I'll go out and get that fuel injector cleaner and hope that works, haha, thanks!
There is a reprogram for this condition, I did it in my car and it hasnt stalled since. I work for a dealer but you'd have to go to one.

really? what exactly do I tell them to do?
I hope its not tooo much, spent 230 this past weekend for nothing. Just put the fuel injector cleaner in tonite when i filled up, hopin that helps too.
