Hows it going guys? My wife's '02 2.2 (non ecotec) is blowing slightly cool but mostly warm air and I saw a post in the A/C sticky saying about jumping the low pressure cut off switch to make the compressor turn on (right now it doesn't) but the sticky said it was on the accumulator but I don't see it there.
My guage reads 85lbs on the low side and I'm guessing its because it's completely out of gas but I don't want to put any in untill I can get that compressor turning.
Thanks for the help!!

The compressor wont turn on if the pressures are to high or to low.
As a general rule, high side equals ambient temp times 2.5, and low ide equals ambient temp divided by 2
Normal low side is around 35-45psi, and high side is around 190, if the ambient temp is around 70f, as the temp gets hotter, pressures go up
If it is blowing slighty cool, get one of those do it yourself cans from Pep Boys, start car, with AC at max, recharge on the low side to about 45psi, and then run the system for about 10 minutes max AC. If it isnt blowing cold yet, you either have massive leak, or a bad component, which would take a set of gauges to read both sides, and a few other tools to find the problem

I was a bit worried since my guage and can said not to put any in if its above 70lbs or so. Thanks for the reply.
