Autolock Feature

Ok, for whatever reason, the Autolock feature has stopped working on my '00 Sunfire so that it DOES NOT LOCK OR UNLOCK THE DOORS WHEN SHIFTING INTO OR OUT OF PARK. No idea why this started. For about a month before this, I've been dealing with dash lights blaring at me, and ABS motors randomly cycling while driving...the first of which has mysteriously stopped by itself, I'm just counting the days before it starts pulling that sh*t again. Oh well, that's for another topic. Anywho, back to the Autolock. Does anybody know if there are any codes out there to get it to work again? You know, going through key cycles and unlocking and locking the door again to get crap to do what it's supposed to.

Thanks

Could possibly be the door lock relay, might want to start there.

One other thing, the power locks work on the door and when I use my fob

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

check all of the fuses and relays, sounds like you are having electrical problems something i shorting out or bad ground.

nor does mine (at least from the factory keyless standoint). I couldn't find any reference to it in the GM service manual either...

my aftermarket alarm has the door lock out of park feature... perhaps that's what failed?

SUCCESS!!! It was the remote start thing the whole time! It has this "Valet" feature where the remote start and autolocks don't work. W/E, thanks for the help anyways
