So yesterday i blew a hole through bottom of my block in my 99 z.. all my internals are screwed. im trying to decide on what engine i should get.. i was thinking about getting a 2.2 eco.. or even maybe a newer supercharged 2.0 out of the cobalt.

iv searched around a bit but i know im not as knowledgable about these cars as you guys are. let me know what you think.

Depends on how involved you want to get...

Any other engine will require a tranny swap. The 2.0 will just not work.

thanks for the help. found a few 2.2 eco's on car part for about 600-1000. they all have diff. compression ratio's though.. im not sure what is best.
