I was installing a new intake today and i noticed a fairly large puddle of coolant on the ground. i have been trying to figure out were it is coming from and all i have figured out is that it is on the passenger side. I cant seem to see it leak in progress i think it is only leaking when the engine is cold. Just wanted to know what you think it could be.

Best thing I could thing of, Is to allow youre car to idle with the hood up, Get it a couple mins to allow pressure to buildup, Then you should be able to see where the coolant is leaking from.

Hey, where is the coolant leak? passenger side near the front? I got up this morning, and my sunfire is leaking around that area. Pretty sure its engine coolant. Im just worried how much its going to cost to fix....

you need to pop the hood and check just after you park it when it is good and hot, and see if any is coming out of the overflow tank.

you just need to find the wet spot
hose going to the overflow tank
the actual overflow line
lower rad hose
radiator

these are all on the passenger side. you cant see the leak because youre not looking from underneath the car
