Ok well i had a problem arise and i was in the form of a broken Crank gear and Tensioner. well we fixed that problem go everything put back together and yes everything was done correctly. BUT now the car sounds like a lawn mower..... I have no clue my friend thinks that it might have gotten out of timing some how, Please let me know your thoughts I've had nothing but trouble with this car since I bought it in November. Well I need to get it fixed so i can sell it and get my Cobalt SS. So if you can please help me out I would appreciate it.


Not a carbon fiber hood!!

my best guess is check spark plugs for correct gap
check coils are good
check timeing
and check wires for early fireing "aka" bad wire grounding out to the block spark not making it to plug

if it isnt any of these u got issues that i dont know about lol

Do a compression test. You most likely bent a few valves.

Well compression test was done today and verdict was it's probably "probably" a bent valve well what i am goign to do is get a new head I know I prolly don't have to but i am going to sell the car to get a 03 LS SPORT and most likely my friend will buy it so yeah ummm..... We'll see what happens. Thanks for the help I'm sure I'll prolly post again once we get it done.
