I just replaced the wheel bearing on a 98 Z24 and had the car jacked up on its right side for 2 days. After letting it back down, it would barely idle, skipping up and down between 700 and 1400 rpm, after a minute the idle smoothed out to 700 to 800 rpm. The check engine light came on soon after as well as the "ets" light. So today I ran the codes with a scanner and got 4 tripped codes, one for bank too lean, another for bank too rich and another for P1108 BARO to MAP Sensor Comparison Too High. That code didn't go away after clearing the codes. Also the auto trans shift a lot harder now. My main question is what is the "P1108 BARO to MAP Sensor Comparison Too High". could being on its side have affected it. The code only appeared after the repair. Thanks
You should test the MAP sensor...
