Muffler Exhaust hooks

I have a 97' Cavalaier 2.2 and the 2 Muffler hooks, 1 in the middle of the exhast system and one near the front. Small hooks, look like "captain hooks" hooks..lol.. well they have rusted right through and therefore my exhaust is vibrating alot and hanging.

Can I replace these hooks? Do I have to buy new ones and weld them on? please help neone.

Actually, its sounds more like you need some new exhaust bearings... here i found a web site for you to buy them...there are a few other things you may want to invest in. KaleCo Auto

The muffler hanger on my 2001 keeps popping off - I'm going to JB Weld the rod to the hook, but is there anything better for hanging the muffler than this? It doesn't stay on for more than a few days.

Thanks for the info Jack, but i dont think thats what i need. Im talking about the little hooks that are attached to the car and hook around the exhaust pipe.

best bet would be to go to an exhaust shop and have them weld on new hangers...unless you or a buddy has a welder. in that case just to the local autoparts store and buy some exhaust hangers.
