alright, first off its not the CV shaft. i know this because i just got it replaced today thinking that was the prob and its still doing it. it happens when i make right hand turns around 35+. any idea what it is?? the faster im going, the faster the throbbing. sometimes its real consistant, sometimes its not.
ideas??...
possibly the pass. side cv shaft, but my guy said it looked good.
could something be wrong with my wheel? if so, like what?
whatcha got??
hows youre front tires? any bloatingness or bumps breaks in tire belts in the tire?Could be Power steering pump. Low on fluid. Any fluid leaking?.
tires look alright...
never thought about steering pump.. but ive never noticed any leaking fluid either
i stopped by the mechanics again today (the one who put inthe cv shaft) and said it could be the bearing, but he looked real quick and said if it is, it hasnt gotten bad enough for it to break free/loose. so im not sure... i guess time will tell!! i'll ask my mechanic today about the steering fluid (hopefully i'll get there today for an oil change and HOPEFULLY thats the issue) but i doubt i'll be so lucky!
hmm...
thanks for the help.. keep the idea flowing!!
how bout a left front wheel bearing
right hand turn will load the left front wheel, causing more load on the bearing, and also will increase in intensity at higher speeds, and yes they can give a throbbing noise
well he looked at both bearings... he said that they're not "bad enough" yet for him to be able to tell...
