I've been looking for web sites where I can buy a Coil Housing (Ignition Housing) for a 2000 Z24. Does anybody know the GM part number for this?

I can get it locally but want to check other prices online. I've done many searches and look for it on many OEM part retailers online with no luck. Being on an island tend to drive prices up to the roof as you can imagine.

As you may know, this housing is the equivalent of the spark plug cables on Quad 4s. I've checked the coils, boots, spark plugs and ignition module and coil pack harness. They all check out fine. This part has low continuity on 1 & 3 plugs (diagonallly opposed) causing the car to run very roughly on two pistons only.

I've been looking into replacing the Direct Ignition system for a more conventional spark plug wire and external coil packs like the first Quad4s and current 2.2 of that year have. Any insight on this type of mods is very welcome.
