I've read a few posts on how to remove the air bags, i'll most likely be using the haynes manual. I'm removing them out of my cavalier from my sig. I have a few questions about it. Will the airbags work in an 02 sunfire that has had the airbags deployed, and what else do I have to do to get them functional again. does the computer need re-programmed to recognize the air bags again?

96 to 05 bags all deploy the same. The shape is obviously different for the different steering wheels.
When the bags go off you need to replace: 1. Both Bags 2. The Control Module (under passenger seat, under carpet) 3. (Possibly) the front sensor (near front bumper) if damaged.

ok so i have a problem. what does it take to get the one out of the steering wheel? i cant get anything in the hole to take it loose.
