hey guys..just changed the fuel filter for a friend in his 2000 ls .. put the car back down and it just cranked but never started...put it back up and removed the filter...turned the key..i can hear the pump start to run but not a DROP comes out the fuel line...any ideas?
Did you prime the fuel line system when you started the car?.( you needed to turn the key to acc, 3 or more times to prime the fuel into the line, Could have burnt the fuel pump or fuel regulater, Can you hear the fuel pump kick on when you turn the key to acc position?.

i have fuel line disconnected from the fuel filter..first turn of the key fuel should SHOOT out..but i dont get a drop..is it possible it runs but doesnt pump?
