just recently both of my highbeams went out pretty sure it's not the bulb(s) because there only 3 months old...(silverstars). Is there any fuse even for the highbeams, and where it is.... or even could it be the headlight switch... all i wanna know is is there a highbeam fuse and where it is... b/c im pretty sure if its not the fuse it's the switch....
there should be a fuse, but third gen cars have a problem with the wiring harness for the headlights getting pinched in the drivers front fender area and wearing through, or causing the connector to not have a good connection. both your fuse panels should have diagrams on them showing what fuse feeds what system, or in your owners manual there should be a diagram of both the under hood fuse box and the I/P fuse box. check the fuse and then check for continuity through that harness to the bulbs.
Last month I had a problem with my right passenager side low beam light, when I went to add window wash fluid, I slammed the hood down, The light when out. I figured the bulb blew out. I wiring connector came loose on the bulb pshed it back in it work great now.
I have heard of silverstars blowing out in three months...but they shouldn't both go at the same time.

Also too I believe silverstars bulb are 55w rated, That too also burn out quicker too. Again my buddy has had his silverstars in his sunfire for about 2yrs. Could be better set maybe.

i took a peek into both fuse compartments and the only one i found for the headlights were the left/right headlight fuses... but nothing for just highbeams....
if you could tell me or post up a picture of where the fuse for the highbeams are maybe i'd be better off in finding it.... b/c i looked in the owners manual and couldn't find the fuse....
DFresh think I got the same problem as you, just happened to me too. Your low beams work well but when you click on high beams you get no light in the headlights? Would love to know as well.
There are no separate fuses for just highbeams. Just left and right as you noticed in the fusebox. Might look at the bulbs anyways, I've heard that Silverstars CAN burn out fairly quickly.
