Well, I don't own the Z anymore, I sold it to my sister and bought a Saab, but she's had some immediate problems. I had the strut bearings replaced and brakes done, then I sealed the throttle body (it's the 2.3 tb on a 2000 LD9 Z24 5speed) to the intake manifold with some Form-A-Gasket sealer because it had a high idle issue.
After that she is getting codes for the following (I can post the numbers soon):
EVAP system (not sure which code, just going by our brief discussion I had with her)
Throttle Position Sensor
Oxygen Sensor (I believe in the Cat Convt)
And it still has a high idle. That leads me to believe that the TPS really must be dead. I've already replaced it recently but I replaced it with another junkyard 2.3 TB tps. So it's feasible.
Evap system, I guessed gas cap but she said she's sure she tightened it down properly.
Oxygen sensor? Why would this go off at the same time as this other stuff or is it maybe just that since the TPS isn't working it was running really rich/lean?
Thanks in advance for any advice/thoughts.
