My friend has an 2000 2.2L 4 spd auto cavalier, On the passenager side in the engine compartment, Their is a cyl looking like part, It looks to me to be a part of the fuel system, Note its making a noise like a whine up toy makes when the car is running, I know the fuel regulator is located on the driverside, Just curious of this parts name or is it on its way of failing.

I dont have digital camera on hand, I removed the black metal bracket, That covers the fuel rail, I found out it is only the end cap, Of the fuel rail, Just curious on the sound though, I noticed my 01 same 2.2L auto makes the same noise, But no as loud?.
