hey, i have a 97 cavi 2.2l ecotec, and my gears once in a while barely go in, there was air in the oil flow for the clutch, and its happened twice now, i just wanted to know is this common, not hard to fix, but i just wanna know so i can prepare for it so i dont ruin anything.
Do you have an ecotec in that? Kinda funny as you still have the 95-99 guage cluster...
*EDIT*
I'll throw in a "wrong forum" for fun.
ya the woman i bought it off had put in a new ecotec engine, it had the regular 2.2 but she blew it somehow then put a used ecotec in there so that would explain the 95-99 gauge cluster, but is that common for the clutch?
My clutch does that randomly where it just doesn't want to go into 1st . . . and then it'll go just fine with no problems. *shrug*
so then nothing to be worried about right? just does it once in a while?

Sorry but I need pics to believe this. The woman could have bought a OHV for less than $400, but she opted for a full ECO swap? It just doesn't add up. I'll eat my words if you show pics, but until then...
check down below your clutch reservoir
i had the problem that my clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there (STAYED) all because the line rubbed against a bracket there and made a slit causing it to leak
might wanna check that out
this goes to all ECO guys too...watch out for that
I'll check to see if something is up with that line on mine. Maybe there is something small and its not too big to seriously effect it?
Why is this in the exterior forum??? Clutch has nothing to do with exteriors...
why ask why? Maybe it's his posting ability....
