AC Problems
Tuesday, August 29, 2006 1:02 PM
Ok, here is the run down. I filled my AC system and it worked great for a day...blew cold and everything. Got in the car the next day, turned on the AC and it was back to blowing warm air...read the pressure on this AC line and it was back to 0. So I bought the dye kit...ran it through the AC system....no leaks....any idea?

Obvious answer=

There is a leak.

Did you check the front of the condenser?

I'll run some more dye through and double check the condenser.

Some other people mentioned to me...that maybe it's cause I filled it myself and it was drained out properly before being refilled??
Also someone else mentioned the evaporator...would either of these possibly cause it?

anything is possible. The evaporator is behind the dash.
