Greetings, 1993 Pontiac Sunbird 2.0L OHC MPFI specifies an oil filter 3387A (Fram/Quaker State). My ? is ... is there an alternate filter (same threads and seal position) but an increased volume (ie. longer in length but the same in diameter) ??? My 1989 2.8L I did have a higher volume oil filter available. Regards ... Irv

Yes, not sure what the Fram part number is (Frams are cheap junk anyway), but the Purolator is L24011. I'm not sure what sort of clearance you'll have, this filter is longer, but has the same threads and gasket size as the 3387A you mention.
