my CEL came on yesterday, no clu why, and now i noticed that my shift light isnt working, the stock little up arrow
i may get the code tmw but more than likely i wont get the time til saturday night, so does anyone know what the problem might be, or am i SOL til i get a scanner?
Did you notice the the shift light was definitely working before the CEL came on? The only relation I can think of would be a faulty pedal or throttle position sensor causing the ECM to think that the light doesn't need to come on yet. You can get a free scan at an AutoZone or many dealerships.
well rodimus scanned it last night, and you're right, its the TPS
anyone know how much they are for a new one? it doesnt look to hard to replace
burned shift light = Cel for Quad driver.

for a 2.4L they are 28.99 at autozone so i couldnt see it being more than that....
