I'm trying to find an '87 5spd linkage, for the 2 liter OHC (IIRC) engine. The dealer has one for $130, is there any better place to look besides a junk yard?

well $130 at the dealer is a pretty fair price, I am pretty sure you could save youre self $60 at the junk yard.

Hmm, thanks. The dealer discontinued the part so it looks like junkyard raiding for me.

One more question, at a junkyard what year linkage will work with my 87? 85-89?

Shoot sorry for the spam, I just contacted Chevy andthey said there is no cable? They said there's a rod connecting directly from the pedal to the linkage, is this going to be a major hassle just to figurte out what to fix?

Does anybody have an actual diagram of the clutch assembly for an 87 Wagon? I've got people who know what they're talking about telling me it's a cable as well as a rod... very confusing.
