Question # 3429864587

OK, how much ATF goes in my 2003 getrag 5 speed maunal? I'm a poor student, and I can't afford to buy more than what I already have (3 liters), and I don't want to drain the old stuff and find out I don't have enough new stuff.
Is 3 liters enough?
It really sucks being poor. But I guess I'm poor now so that I can be wealthy later. It still sucks though.

BTW....ATF stands for Automatic Transmission Fluid....so you are already off to a bad start. Im guessing it uses 3 quarts or so but dont quote me, just call chevy and ask them.

Yeah I wasn't sure about that, but the Haynes manual says Dexron IIE or Dexron III for manual transmissions 2000 and up.

I checked the owner's manual; Dexron III. And thanks for your concern, but I know what ATF stands for.
