Long story short... The bolt holding down my systems fuse shorted on my metal brake line and caused a fire in my engine bay that snaped the brake line into two peices
I called a local GM dealer, and they told me that the part is no long made ?? they said something about the metal line being bent custom for each car so they dont have the lines there...
does anyone know a part number for the gm 30 inch metal brake line which is the 3rd line from the left (from the passenger side when looking at the car from the front to the back) on the "brake line hub" (i dont know what its called exactly) located by the container for the brake fluid??
I bought one from autozone that screws in perfectly but does not screw in deep enough to cause a seal between the line and the hub so it's seeping out brake fluid slowy, so i want to get it replaced with a GM one or one with longer threads so it seals all the way down...
