Hey I got an 01 Z24 and today I couldn't open the door on the drivers side, everything works lock wise, the power locks unlocks and moves the lock by the handle, it opens from the inside but not from the outside. Did one of the links fall out of the door handle inside the door panel?
Yep. Open the door pannel. Feel around in there, you'll find a metal link that needs to be shoved into a little hole, then a plastic clip holds it from falling out of that hole again.
Oh yes I just finished fixing it, very easy, couldn't see where it went at first but then I got it. The door panel was a PITA to put back on but after I put the window down it was easy!
