I have an '03 2.2 Ecotec and my (what I am guessing is) lower radiator hose is collapsed. Now obviously it will need to be replaced but I'm having some trouble finding a good replacement. I was hoping to get a stainless steel one so that it won't collapse again. Any of you guys know where to find a good hose? Or should I just go with the GM factory replacement?
any aftermarket hose should work, Unless youre like to spend alot of cash on high end parts. Usually hoses are pretty well durable.
I would check your thermostat.
There is a valve built into the thermostat to relieve the vacuum which develops as the system cools down. It seems as though yours may have stuck and the vacuum is collapsing the hose.
The last part of the page in the article below describes the valve:-

Hope it helps

My lower hose is collapsing too. Do you have to replace all 3 hoses or just the one?
A is the one. If I can replace indivually, I would like to install braided steel
