I drove my car to work today and it was fine, then when I go on break and start to drive off the ETS OFF light and the ABS light came on and stayed on, the TRAC OFF light has also been coming on but it doesnt stay on. Any ideas on why?

how long has it been since you had youre transmission serviced?. Could be a soloide in the transmission, Or a relay fouling up, Is the transmission jerky or stumble while driving?. Or is their any check engine light on?.
I know if you got something wrong with the transmission you may need to get it scanned at a transmission shop or Dealer, If you got a code in the tranny, ODB II wont beable to scan it. Could need youre transmission re flashed software.

Good Luck

My '99 Z acted like that when I installed an aftermarket intake and forgot to plug the IAT into it.

No other lights come on just those. I just bought the car from a dealer so I have no idea about the maintenance history i've only had the car for 3 days, and the transmission only seems to "act up" when im reversing, it seems like it takes a second or two to catch and then back up, and also when i hit like 20mph it seems to stick a little until i give it gas then it goes. It also has an aftermarket intake but the sensor is plugged in.

ever replace the battery ........have the charging system checked out first and make sure you have a properly working charging /starting system

another one with bad ABS sensor......this has happened before to a couple of jbodies before, It also hapened to me but, the only diff is that I had the ABS, trac off, ETS and service light on.....but since you have a 95-99 model you dont have this light..... now the problem is on one of the 4 ABS sensors that our cavs have...front ones a relative cheaper and easier to change ( about 120 each ) rear ones are ( about 200+ each, and they are a PITA to change them ), the reason that all this lights come on at the same time its because ABS is connected to our traction control, afecting also the ETS.....now you just go to the dealer they put their little ODB reader and find out......luckily I still had warranty so they did the work for free ....hope this helps
