Where is the cam/crank position sensor on a 2000 Pontiac sunfire 2.2L

If like it's 'lesser' cousin from '96, the 2.2 has that sensor next to the oil pressure sensor below the coil packs on the firewall side of the engine.

you mean the part you cannot see around by the oil filter?

Yeah, I think so. On the '96 2.2, faceing the engine while sitting in the car, cam and oil sensors are right next to each other just about even with the filter, but just left of center, directly below the coil packs. Cam on the left, oil on the right. Best to get them from below.

If its not there and its like my 99 there on the back of the block, pretty easy to get to from under the car, however a new cam sensor will run you like a 120 bones. Theres only 3 sensors on the back of the block and you can probably figure out which is which.
